Goochland Cabin

NEW CONSTRUCTION

Here again, the clients purchased the property primarily for the site, knowing that the existing house did not meet their needs or their vision for the property. But it did have one feature they loved—a sunken great room. And while they knew that the old house would need to come down, they wanted a design for their new home that paid homage to the original one. The new design reflects both that and their love for the rustic style of the mountain homes of the Rockies.
